HPS - Hardy Plant Society

HPS - Hardy Plant Society The Hardy Plant Society exists to stimulate interest in growing hardy herbaceous plants.
(1)

This international Society was formed in 1957 by a group of eminent gardeners and nurserymen. Its members provide information about familiar and less well known perennials, and how to grow them. Through its conservation scheme, the Society also works towards ensuring that all garden worthy perennial plants remain in cultivation and have the widest possible distribution.

๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒฟ Come along to our next meeting on Tuesday 10 March for Tim Fuller's talk 'New, rare and unusual perennials'. Tim will take a look at some of the newer plant introductions. We will see new versions of cottage garden favourites, as well as rare and lesser known species, giving ideas of planting combos. See more about Tim's background/order plants in advance from his nursery near Diss: plantpref.co.uk. Come and join us to hear his interesting presentation and to swap planty tips over a coffee afterwards.
