Paid Opportunities for Runway Show Creatives Young people 16-25 years

Connect and Thrive Runway Show is led by Light Empowerment Network in Partnership with Active Horizons, funded by the Royal Borough of Greenwich.

We are calling all Young Creatives aged 16-25 years to who would like to be involved in making the Connect and Thrive Runaway Cast.

We are offering the following paid opportunities
Models (10x)
Makeup Artist (2x)
Hair Stylists (2x)
Photographers (1x)
Decorators (1x)
Models can be of any background and highly recommend those living with disabilities, any size, background.

If selected you will need to be available to attend the following days

5 September 2026- Induction (1 Hr Online Meeting) Time to be confirmed
12 September 2026- Rehearsals
19 September 2026- The Main RunWay Show Event 1-5pm.

Many thanks to the amazing INTHELABWITHNAZ for imparting your industry knowledge skills to the young people. A massive thanks to Train for making this a reality. This summer, Bexley Libraries, Artstrain and Active Horizons are teaming up to offer a unique songwriting project for young people aged 13–17 as part of Read to the Beat, this year’s Summer Reading Challenge. 🎶📚

From 17–19 August, participants will work with professional musicians to write and record original songs inspired by books, before filming a music video in one of our libraries.

It's a fantastic opportunity to build confidence, express creativity and discover how reading can inspire music.

Places are limited, with recruitment managed by Active Horizons.
