Re-Instate's Social Enterprise is based at the Community Hub and can often be a first step towards people achieving work goals. Re-Instate's W-rap™ Project (Well-being, Recovery, Activity Parcels) is entirely co-produced and managed by people who use our services. The parcels are designed to provide at least five full-sized items associated with The New Economics Foundations’ Five Ways to Well-being to encourage people to incorporate these five actions into their lives. The Five Ways to Wellbeing are a set of evidence-based actions which promote well-being, outlined as; Connect, Be Active, Take Notice, Keep Learning and Give. The Five Ways to Well-being will remain an integral part of the decision making process when incorporating products into our range. Following a pilot at the Ladywell Unit at SLaM, where we developed three distinct packs, one for arrivals, one activity pack and one for going home, we were commissioned to provide the packs to all of SLaM's inpatients across their four main operating boroughs. Further funding from the London Community Foundation and the Wax Chandler's saw the project develop with young people, both as recipients and facilitators of the packs, and SLaM's Home Treatment Team. At the end of 2018, support from the London Borough of Bexley and Bexley CCG saw W-rap develop further to support older people isolated in their homes. If you would like to find out more information about W-rap, whether it's sponsoring items within the packs or commissioning the packs for your own service please e-mail [email protected]
