The Good Plate The Good Plate is the Real Junk Food Project cafe in Earls Barton! Everyone is equal in getting fed and it is up to the individual to pay what they can.

The Good Plate is part of The Real Junk Food Project network, started by Adam Smith in Leeds, and works closely with Elsie's Cafe in Northampton. The Real Junk Food Project is a network of national
and international movement of cafes and projects which aims to intercept good food that is destined for landfill to feed it to the world, thus feeding bellies and not bins. The Good Plate aims to serve

delicious and nutritious meals, using ingredients that are perfectly edible. We hope to provide not only a good meal, but a pleasant environment for anyone and everyone --- people from anywhere and all walks of life, whilst working on reducing waste. We aim to cater to varied dietary requirements so that everyone who comes in can have something to eat. We operate on a “Pay As You Feel’ concept where people are encouraged to think about what their plate of food means to them, and value it in whatever way they can. By choosing not to segregate people based on financial circumstances, we are able to not only fund the project, but can do so in a way that does not patronise those who need it and those who want to support it. All donations are gratefully received and will go towards paying for essentials (like heating, gas, water and electricity) needed to run this cafe successfully, and all of us work on a voluntary basis. Thank you for generously giving towards supporting the medics providing aid on the Ukrainian frontline. Your financial donations this week will go towards this cause again.

We're always glad to work hard helping you to enjoy good food whilst saving on your weekly grocery shop. Your financial donations help us all to help others in greater need.

Funds raised this week will go towards supporting civilian medics who are providing care for the wounded and sick in frontline cities in Ukraine.

At our stall this week, there will be quality meaty pizzas as well as meat. Please bring a generous donation. Thank you. :)
