Grampian MS Therapy Centre

Grampian MS Therapy Centre Self referral Oxygen therapy provider to people with ms/neurological and various health conditions. There is no funding from the NHS or other institutions.

Self funded charity https://donate.justgiving.com/charity/grampianmstherapycentre/donation-amount Self-help is our way of action
The Centre works on a self-referral basis. This means that you do not need to be referred by a health-care professional to access our therapies. The aim of the Centre is to show people with Multiple Sclerosis how to help keep themselves as fit as possible through the use

of suitable exercise, oxygen therapy and complimentary therapies such as physiotherapy, reflexology and massage

The centre opened 36 years ago, to primarily provide oxygen to people living with MS. It is a charity organisation, and is 100% supported by donations and funding from within the community. Oxygen Treatment – simply involves breathing oxygen, with a mask in a chamber under pressure or in the oxygen treatment room at ambient pressure. Oxygen treatment is designed to optimise the oxygen uptake in the blood, and so aid healing and reduce inflammation. The aim of centre is to improve the quality of life for people living with MS and other neurological conditions and allow them to have as normal a life as possible. The centre also treats other conditions, including fibromyalgia, cancer, burns, stroke, sports injuries, crones and many others. The centre provides support and advice to all who attend the centre, their families, and carers. MS is a progressive neurological condition where the immune system attacks the central nervous system. The disease is very unpredictable and symptoms can vary in intensity from patient to patient. It can in many patients be a hidden illness. Here at the centre we have a part time Physiotherapist dedicated to helping people with MS make the most use of what movements they have and to the maintenance of that movement. We also provide Reflexology, this is a natural therapy based on the principal that there are reflexes in the feet and hands which relate to all the systems, organs and glands of the body. The reflexologist applies gentle pressure to the feet thus promoting balance and harmony and stimulating the body’s own healing powers.

In 2023, Julia was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, a life-changing condition that has had a significant impact on her daily life. Whilst adapting to those changes, she discovered the incredible support available at the Grampian MS Therapy Centre in Dyce, Aberdeen.

The Centre provides vital therapies including Oxygen Therapy, Physiotherapy and Reflexology, helping people living with MS improve their quality of life. These services also benefit people living with other conditions, including cancer, fibromyalgia and ME, making the Centre a lifeline for so many across the North East. πŸ’™

What many people don't realise is that Grampian MS Therapy Centre receives no government funding and relies entirely on voluntary donations and fundraising to continue providing these life-changing services.

Julia is now giving something back by raising funds to support the Centre and ensure others can access the same care and support that has meant so much to her.

πŸ™ If you would like to support Julia's fundraising efforts, please consider making a donation through her JustGiving page:

πŸ’™ Did You Know? Grampian MS Therapy Centre Supports Much More Than MS πŸ’™

While many people know us for supporting those living with Multiple Sclerosis, the centre also helps people with a wide range of other conditions and recovery needs.

At Grampian MS Therapy Centre, we provide therapies and support that may help with:
βœ” Long COVID
βœ” Cancer support and wellbeing
βœ” Wound healing
βœ” Broken bones and injury recovery
βœ” Sports injuries
βœ” Fatigue and inflammation
βœ” Fibromyalgia and neurological conditions
…and so much more.

One of the therapies we offer is Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT), which works by increasing oxygen delivery around the body to support healing, recovery and wellbeing. Oxygen therapy has been increasingly used to help support recovery from conditions including Long COVID, wound healing and injury rehabilitation.

But the centre is about more than therapies alone.

It’s about support, encouragement, wellbeing and having a friendly team around you who genuinely care. Whether someone is recovering from illness, injury or managing a long-term condition, we aim to create a welcoming environment where people feel comfortable, supported and understood.

Many people are surprised at the range of therapies and support available through the centre β€” which is why we’d love you to explore what we offer.

Why not visit our website and see how we may be able to help you or someone you know? πŸ’™

✨ Glow, Lift & Refresh with Face Cupping at Grampian MS Therapy Centre ✨

Looking for a natural way to refresh your skin, relax facial tension and support overall wellbeing?

Face cupping is a gentle, non-invasive therapy that’s growing in popularity β€” and for very good reason.

Using soft silicone cups, this relaxing treatment creates light suction across the face to help stimulate circulation, encourage lymphatic drainage and leave skin looking brighter, fresher and more revitalised.

πŸ’†β€β™€οΈ Benefits of face cupping can include:
βœ” Improved blood circulation
βœ” Reduced puffiness and fluid retention
βœ” A brighter, more refreshed complexion
βœ” Support for collagen production
βœ” Reduced facial tension and tightness
βœ” Improved lymphatic drainage
βœ” A natural lifting and toning effect
βœ” Deep relaxation and stress relief

Many people describe face cupping as both rejuvenating and incredibly relaxing, helping them feel refreshed inside and out.

At Grampian MS Therapy Centre, we’re proud to offer therapies that support both wellbeing and confidence, delivered in a calm, welcoming and professional environment.

Whether you’re looking to support skin health, ease tension, or simply enjoy some well-deserved self-care, face cupping could be the perfect treatment to try.

Why not treat yourself and experience the benefits for yourself? πŸ’™
