Tyndale Choral Society - are we all still on a HIGH after such an epic performance of Haydn's supreme choral masterpiece - The Creation?!! We all absolutely loved singing it to our audience.

Massive "Thanks for what was a superb and uplifting performance given by everyone - the excellent Regency Sinfonia, our brilliant soloists Katie Trethewey, Tim Burton, Stephen Hamnett and Christopher Guild - all outstanding, and led by our own wonderful Ben Sawyer. A really memorable night.

And a big round of applause 👏👏👏to all those involved in bringing the performace to you - so many people who organised, helped on the night - thank you to everyone.
We look forward to seeing you at our next concert in November - Brahms' Requiem - watch this space

Tyndale Choral Society features younger singers in an upcoming performance of Haydn’s ‘The Creation’
Thanks to an exciting bursary scheme launched this year to support and encourage young singers we are joined by our first young singer.
Our concert, conducted by Ben Sawyer, is on Saturday 6th June at St James’s, Dursley.
We are delighted to be accompanied by the Regency Sinfonia

After our phenomenally successful 2025 season: with no less than 3 sold-out concerts!! at St James’s Church in Dursley, we're excited to launch our concert programme for 2026. As well as Haydn's ‘Creation’, we’re also preparing Brahms’ fabulous ‘Requiem’ for our winter concert; we cordially invite new singers to come and join us.

We begin rehearsals of Haydn’s oratorio, ‘Creation’ on Monday 16 February. We would really love to welcome more lower voices – so come on you and – come and sing with us. Everyone who can sing and follow a line of music is welcome.
