What a fantastic afternoon we had yesterday at our Cam Cricket Club Youth Presentation. 💛🖤
It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate another season of youth cricket and, most importantly, to recognise the effort, commitment, development and enjoyment of all our young players.
From our youngest players taking their first steps into cricket, through to our U15s competing at the highest level, it has been brilliant to see so many young players playing, learning and developing together throughout the season.
🏏 We celebrated achievements across our age groups with awards recognising:
⭐ Batting, bowling & fielding
⭐ Coaches’ Awards
⭐ Most Improved Players
⭐ Players’ Player
⭐ 100% Attendance
⭐ Captaincy
⭐ The Malcolm Harris Award
Every award tells a story of hard work, progress, teamwork and commitment — and we are incredibly proud of everyone who received recognition.
But the afternoon wasn’t just about the trophies.
It was about every child who has pulled on the Cam Cricket Club shirt this season, every parent who has brought them along, every coach who has given their time, and every volunteer who helps make youth cricket possible.
A huge thank you to our Youth Committee, coaches, volunteers, parents and sponsors Millwood Budgens and Shell Forecourt, A&R Scaffolding LTD & All Ecology for everything you do to support our young players. 👏
And to all our young cricketers — thank you for making 2026 another fantastic season. We hope you’ve enjoyed it as much as we have.
💛🖤 One Club. One Future.
