Our CareMoor for Exmoor closed bid auction for the retired South West Coast Path fingerpost arm from Minehead has officially come to an end – and we're delighted to say it has been a fantastic success!

We've received an incredibly generous winning bid, with the funds raised going towards supporting vital access and Public Rights of Way work across Exmoor National Park. 🥾🌿

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who placed a bid, shared our posts and helped spread the word. Your support really does make a difference!

We're thrilled that this special piece of South West Coast Path history has found a new home, and we look forward to sharing more about the story behind our winning bidder and their special connection to the South West Coast Path at a later date. 💚

We’re auctioning off one of our retired Exmoor National Park fingerposts, giving you the chance to take home a genuine piece of the National Park.

An opportunity is available to buy a piece of history as Exmoor National Park Authority is auctioning an original South West Coast Path signpost after it was retired and replaced by a new one. The money will help maintain the network of signs on Exmoor.

Rare chance to own a piece of South West Coast Path history.

A retired fingerpost from start of The South West Coast Path up for grabs

The wooden fingerpost arm previously pointed walkers towards Poole 629¼ miles away at the other end of the National Trail.

Recently replaced by a new fingerpost, the retired fingerpost arm is now ready for a new home - proceeds to CareMoor for Exmoor
