Good to see TG members are visiting other guilds (possibly more than in the past) and what a great idea for a quiz!!

It’s always good to meet the neighbours! Jude, from the City of Lichfield Evening TG visited our guild today, and said we’d be welcome to visit their guild anytime! Guest speaker Penny Wheat entertained us with jokes and quizzes on the subject “Dig It!” and our Vice Chair, Lesley, won the prize for recognising names of flowers in songs that Penny whistled! (Answers hidden so we don’t spoil the quiz for anyone else!) 😜

Fishponds Townswomen's Guild added their contribution to a flower festival at their local Staple Hill Methodist Church in Bristol.
The theme was 'books' and they chose Eric Carle's ever popular 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar'. How lovely 🦋

So good to see TG members from 3 different guilds (Hollyfield, Sedgley and City of Lichfield) meeting up today. They visited the excellent Longest Yarn 2 - a thread through history display in Lichfield Cathedral. Members from Three Spires TG and Chasetown TG also visited the exhibition today and chatted with ladies from other guilds.
The exhibition is well worth a visit if you have not yet seen it: just a small selection of the displays ate shown below.
