Week 2 Complete! ☀️⚽

Week 2 of our Summer Camp is done! 🙌

70 children have been engaged throughout the camp, and it’s been brilliant seeing the kids having such a lovely time, making friends, staying active and enjoying every session! ❤️

One week to go! 🔥 We’re looking forward to finishing the summer camp on a high! 💪

We only managed to get one recording from the three-penalty shootout.

This is one of the two penalties that were disallowed because our goalkeeper was judged to be off his line.

Unfortunately, it’s the only footage we have.

We never imagined our day would end like this.

In the final, three clear handball appeals were ignored, and after our goalkeeper saved two penalties, both were ordered to be retaken—even though only three penalties are allowed. They did everything to ensure we didn’t lift the trophy.

Our players were devastated. As a club, we made the decision not to collect our runners-up medals as a protest—not because we can’t accept defeat, but because every child deserves a fair final.

Safe to say this will be our last tournament organised by Broadway. Grassroots football should always put fairness before everything else.
