Last night our members enjoyed a wonderful tour around G T Bunnings and sons. Thank you for taking the tine out your evening to show us around we loved it!

This evening our countrysiders had the pleasure of having a tour around Ernest Doe Power - Fakenham to learn about the history of the business, explore the store and see types of Case tractors that they sell. A big thank you to George, David, Nick and Maddie for taking the time to show us round and serve us in the shop. Also a big thank you for the refreshments and goodie bags we all had an amazing time!

We are back!

Our first meeting back is our new members evening. Tuesday 2nd September at West Dereham Village Hall!

Come and bring a friend along to see what we are all about. Everyone aged 10-16 welcome!

Come see what countrysiders is all about, with meetings with both our senior clubs Downham Market Young Farmers and Swaffham Young Farmers Club as well as competition days and social activities why not come see what your missing out on.

Downham Market Countrysiders are looking for volunteers to help run our sessions.

Countrysiders is the 10-16 section of Norfolk Young Farmers. We currently have 7 groups meeting term time across the county. Downham meet at West Dereham Village Hall twice a month on Tuesdays.

Our sessions include games, crafting activities, sports, visitor talks and visits to farms and businesses relevant to farming and country living.

We have various events across the year with different competitions, a large stand at the Norfolk Show, an annual
Countrysider campout and an end of year party.

We have a thriving group of over 20 kids and need an enthusiastic adult or 2 who can commit to helping a couple of times a month, undertake some short safeguarding training and complete a DBS (at our expense).
