Dreams For Hope is dedicated to alleviating bed poverty across the six boroughs in North and North East Surrey, where it is estimated that over 10,000 children and young people do not have their own bed to sleep in.

They are looking for bed assembly volunteers to join their team.

The role involves assembling metal single beds, using only an allen key. No heavy lifting is required. Each bed normally takes 15-20 mins to assemble working in pairs.

Mary Frances Trust is a Surrey-based charity supporting people with mental health and emotional wellbeing.
They engage volunteers from a variety of backgrounds to help them by assisting the staff team to deliver our work to clients that seek our support, across Mole Valley, Epsom & Ewell, Banstead and Elmbridge.
This is a supportive singing group where participants enjoy singing together to enhance mood, build confidence and reduce feelings of isolation.
As a 'singing in mind' support volunteer you will support the delivery of their weekly online ‘Singing in Mind’ group, by signing in participants, assisting them where necessary and being available to support the facilitator should one of the group need extra support.

Rainbow Trust Children's Charity support families with a child who is diagnosed with a life-threatening or terminal illness. They pair these families with a dedicated Family Support Worker to provide custom practical and emotional support.

As such, they rely heavily on volunteer support and are looking for a Community Fundraiser to undertake their own fundraising initiatives. This could range from hosting your own bake sale, sourcing raffle prizes, taking part in a run/walk, organising a quiz night or coordinating larger events such as talent nights or themed dinners.

You would be supported by Rainbow Trust who would provide resources and guidance. Or if you don't know what you would like to help with, just contact them and they will help you find the best activity for you.

Elmbridge CAN is a community-based, volunteer-powered charity, located in Elmbridge, Surrey.

They help forcibly displaced people - such as refugees and asylum seekers - in and around Elmbridge to rebuild their lives to become independent and contributing members of the community. They offer integration services in partnership with local organisations and through their network of committed volunteers.

With demand for their services continuing to grow, it is essential that they position themselves to meet future needs and secure the funding required to support their work.

Working within a small team, trustees with experience in charity trusteeship/third sector management, safeguarding, finance or experience with the UK asylum system would be beneficial.
