Our next FREE guided walk is just one week away!

MAYORS OF DONCASTER
Sunday 28 June 2026 – 3pm
Find out more about the leaders and decision makers of Doncaster’s past.

At this walk we will be exploring the interesting histories of some of Doncaster's most influential mayors.

As always our walks are free but donations towards our work are gratefully received. There is limited on road parking on Carr Lane and the cemetery is a short walk from city centre car parks.

Happy Volunteers Week! We are very lucky to have very dedicated volunteers who help us to improve and conserve our wonderful historic cemetery.

Our work morning volunteers were very busy at our last session tidying up the entrance of the cemetery, ready for the start of our guided walks programme.

Our friends at the Commonwealth War Graves Commission are putting on a walk at the cemetery for War Graves Week.

Join them at 10am on Thursday 21st May to find out more about the CWGC burials in the cemetery.

The walk is free but you need to book a ticket in advance on the CWGC website https://www.cwgc.org/war-graves-week/

Our first guided walk of 2026 is today, Sunday 10 May, at 3pm

BUSINESS BIG SHOTS
Discover the stories of the influential business leaders who shaped Doncaster.

All walks are free but donations are gratefully received. Meet at the Cross of Sacrifice at the main entrance, Carr Lane, DN4 5AA.

Limited on road parking is available on Carr Lane and the cemetery is a short walk from city centre car parks.

Here's the plan for our volunteer work morning on Saturday 9 May:
- Litter pick
- Tidying pathways
- Carry on barking section O
- Weeding of the main entrance
- Sign replacements

Our sessions run from 9.30am to 12 noon and new volunteers are welcome! Why not join us and help make our wonderful cemetery even better.
