We are saddened to report that our Family Hub in Bentley has been broken into yet again. This is the latest in a string of incidents that have seen damage being done to its facilities and equipment being stolen.

The family hub is a valued space for the local community, serving as a go-to place for residents where they can access much-needed support, key services and fun events. So, it’s disappointing to see these incidents continuing.

As before, if you have any information to share that could help us catch those responsible for these break-ins, please get in touch by either heading to www.yourlifedocnaster.co.uk/report-it or by calling the police on 101.

Conisbrough and Denaby are full of amazing people neighbours who look out for one another, volunteers who give their time freely, young people doing brilliant things and groups who make our community stronger every single day. Now it’s time to celebrate them.

We’re excited to launch the Pride of Conisbrough & Denaby Awards 2026 and we’re inviting residents to help shine a spotlight on the everyday heroes who make this place special.

The awards ceremony will take place on 10 July 2026 and we want as many people as possible to get involved.

This is a valued space for the local community, serving as a go-to place for families where they can access much-needed support, key services and fun events. So, it’s disappointing to see it being treated like this.

Our teams are hard at work ensuring that the hub is made safe and protected from future break-ins, and are also investigating who is behind these crimes. Join the Doncaster Skills Hub team on Friday 27th March at The Ivanhoe Centre for some Easter-themed family fun, with a wellbeing twist!

Little ones can take part in their 'hop-to-it' mini missions - a series of feel-good family challenges designed to spark ideas, team work and joyful moments, with an Easter egg prize at the end!

Children can also join in with some Easter crafting while grown-ups have the opportunity to chat with our friendly team about our range of free courses and opportunities. There will also be a take-home activity for all families to enjoy and recreate together at home.

The event runs in two-hour slots from 9.30-4pm - don't forget to book your slot in advance to ensure your child receives their easter egg prize.
