Mayflower Sanctuary rescues abused and abandoned dogs and cats providing care and sanctuary until permanent responsible homes can be found. Annually Mayflower rescues and re-homes over 550 dogs and 200 cats. Our rescue centre relies heavily on volunteers and public support without which we would not be able to continue. Mayflower Sanctuary is a Registered Charity No 1147324 and an associate member of ADCH.

We were pleased to welcome Emily from Barge Estates this morning. Emily will be hosting our Dog Show on the 5th July.
Location: Tithes Lane Playing Fields, Tickhill
The dog show will feature:
🐶 Our fun Scruffs show
✨ Lots of stalls
🍔 Refreshments and a BBQ
🐾 Fun for all the family
We hope to see you there at our annual event to raise much needed funds for our animals in care.

KITTENS GALORE!
Today we took in 2 mother cats, each with 7 little kittens. 14 kittens from just 2 cats! Another 14 all looking for their forever homes as well as the 2 poor mother cats. This situation could have been so easily prevented- Please, please NEUTER your cats.
Obviously with all these extra mouths now to feed we will be going through lots of kitten wet food. Please, if you are thinking of donating anytime soon then we are always extremely grateful at this time of year for kitten wet food- any brand- thankfully these little guys aren’t fussy. THANKYOU SO MUCH. 🥰
