Dollar Glen Football Club Welcome to the official Dollar Glen Football Club page. The club was reformed in 1997 We currently have over 150 members playing the beautiful game.

Dollar Glen Football Club were reformed in 1997 after more than 60 years out the game. We are a community football club, here to provide, foster and develop football for young and not so young people from Dollar and the surrounding area. The club currently holds a Scottish Football Association Bronze Level Quality Mark. We currently have over 90 children attending football sessions with the Dollar

Glen Dynamos on a Monday evening and have recently established teams at the 2016, 2014 & 2012 age groups from these sessions with the aim of more at various other age groups. The club also have an adult mens amateur side, playing in the Stirling and District FA, mens Over 35s side, Womans Recreational and mixed gender Walking football groups. We are a club run by a team of dedicated volunteers and supported financially by
sponsorship from community-minded businesses. We rely on the continuous support of volunteers and welcome enquiries from potential volunteers and sponsors who share our desire to give children and adults in our community something of value.

Active Dollar and Muckhart is a registered Sportscotland community sports hub that is working towards four core outcomes of improving inclusion, health and wellbeing, community and skills. To understand if we are having success in reaching these goals, we are working with the University of Stirling to evaluate our projects. This survey aims to investigate the impact of Active Dollar and Muckhart's community sport and walking and cycling projects.

Residents of Dollar and Muckhart are invited to participate regardless of their experience with the projects. The questions are a mix of open responses and scale items that relate to wellbeing, inclusion, confidence and community. Participation is voluntary and the survey can be exited at any point if you no longer wish to take part.

This survey will be open until the 3rd of August 2026. The results will be published in Active Dollar and Muckhart's evaluation report and included in the researcher's dissertation.

We have recently said goodbye to our budding young coaches who are off to further their sports education at University. Therefore we are now looking for enthusiastic young people who are either looking for support as part of the Duke of Edinburgh programme or are interested in entering the SFA Coaching pathway (over 16).
