Dolau Hall is located in the the small but very active community of Dolau (Llanfihangel Rhidithon) high up in the Radnorshire hills midway between the towns of Llandrindod Wells and Knighton on the northern edge of Radnor Forest. The village lies on the Heart of Wales Railway which runs between Swansea and Shrewsbury and boasts the Best Kept unmanned station in the British Isles. In 1990 Dolau Rec

reation Association was formed to raise money to build a new community hall in the village. In 1997 the efforts of the Association were rewarded with the openning of a fine new Commnuity Hall built on land next to the village school. The Community Hall is managed by Dolau Recreation Association (Registered Charity No: 1024084) with support from Llanfihangel Rhydithon Community Council and Powys County Council.
