We are very proud of our Community Hall and were thrilled to celebrate its 100th Anniversary, recently.
We are always looking for ways to improve the building for the comfort and ease of use for all who use it. So how wonderful would it be if we could replace the outdated, existing heaters in time for the colder days of winter? We might be able to, with your help!
Please take a minute to nominate us for a cash award using the link here, the more nominations we get, the more likely we are to win, thank you very much! 🤞😊🤞

During the 100th Anniversary celebrations on Sunday, June 14th there were many photograph albums on show containing photos from previous events at the hall.
Also playing on the day, was a dvd, created by Trev Jones, of photos from more recent occasions and a few old ones, including the official opening of the hall and big renovations, quite a few years ago.
A few expressed they would like to be able to share it, watch it again and also for those who weren’t able to make it on the day Trev has put it on YouTube & here’s the link to view:

A small bracelet or anklet was found at the hall by our cleaner, in the past couple of weeks. She spotted it under one of the wooden pews opposite the stage. If you have lost one, please get in touch, as we would like to reunite it with its owner.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along, and to those who helped to make yesterday’s 100th Anniversary celebration such a lovely afternoon! There were smiles-a-plenty from the old photographs, happy chatter, games, a fabulous buffet spread..and those delicious cream scones! To top it off beautifully, the cutting of a wonderful cake, by a younger and slightly older member of the community, whose combined age is 100..perfect! Even the sun shined for us! Here’s to the next 100 years! ☀️🎉🥳🍰
Thank you to Caroline for the first few photos, many more to follow, soon!
