Home-Start Southern Oxfordshire supports families with young children who are going through difficult times, across South Oxfordshire and the Vale of White Horse. Home-Start Southern Oxfordshire has been based in the area for more than 30 years, supporting vulnerable families who have at least one child under the age of five by offering direct personal support via our trained volunteers. The families have all been referred to us or are self-referred and may be experiencing postnatal depression, bereavement, separation, illness, disability, domestic violence, mental illness or a combination of problems that all lead to stress and crisis within the family unit.

We're so excited to have 🌟11 🌟more volunteers join us at Home-Start Southern Oxfordshire! They will help us support many more families across South Oxfordshire and the Vale of White Horse.

A HUGE well done, congratulations and THANK YOU to all of our amazing runners who took on the Oxford Half Marathon on Sunday!!

In total, they raised more than 🌟 £4,200 (!!) 🌟 which will go towards supporting families with young children across South Oxfordshire and the Vale of White Horse!

For a small charity like ours, fundraising like this doesn't happen very often! 😎 🙌

Our Home-Start Best Starts Group is for parents and their child(ren) aged between 1-4 years. Join us every Tuesday for an afternoon of play!

The group is referral-only to keep it small, so it's perfect for those who find large groups intimidating and for those struggling with anxiety or low confidence. It's also there to help parents/carers whose children may not be meeting developmental milestones.

Join us at Home-Start Best Starts for:

⭐️ a calm, safe environment to meet other parents/carers
⭐️ stimulating play experiences for your child (dress-up, toys and books)
⭐️ Creative and sensory play activities
⭐️ tailored support from our Group Worker 🙂

**Baby & Me Group Not On Next Week**

Unfortunately, our Tuesday Baby & Me group (held at GWP District Community Centre, Didcot) is cancelled next week (6th October). But we'll be back the following week, Tuesday 13th October and hope to see you all then 💜
