Parents, players and coaches are invited to join us at Seán Dolans GAC for a free Nutrition Workshop delivered by Health for Life.

Whether you're looking to improve sports performance, support your child's development, or simply learn more about healthy eating, this session will provide practical advice on:

✅ Recovery & hydration
✅ Everyday nutrition
✅ Simple tips you can put into practice straight away

Derry City FC, in conjunction with Health for Life’s SEEDS Project, will host a ‘Down Memory Lane’ day at the Ryan McBride Brandywell Stadium on Thursday 17 September.

The event will look back at the club’s history through archive video footage and hundreds of photographs, tracing Derry City’s journey from the Irish League through to League of Ireland football.

There will also be a display of old shirts, match programmes and other memorabilia, along with a number of informal guest speakers sharing their memories of the club.

Those attending will also have the opportunity to meet the manager and some of the players, with a free lunch provided between the two sessions.

The morning session, from 11.30am–1pm, is reserved for people connected with Health for Life’s SEEDS Project, which supports people living with dementia and their families.

The afternoon session will then be open to the public, with a limited number of free tickets (2 per person - first come, first served) available at https://derrycityfc.ticketco.events/uk/en/e/down_memory_lane

We are delighted to welcome you all to The Recovery Walk Northern Ireland 2026.

The Recovery Walk NI is the largest outdoor recovery event in Northern Ireland, supported by various organisations and community groups throughout NI.

Held during International Recovery Month, The
Recovery Walk NI is family friendly and highly
invitational event to honour those we have lost to
substance use, to celebrate those currently
navigating recovery, and to highlight why recovery is so important within our communities.

The walk is an excellent way to bring addiction,
substance use, and recovery out of the shadows.
build new connections and support networks and
meet others navigating life after addiction.

As well as the walk there wil be access to support
and information stals, food, live music and fun on the day.

This is a FREE family event and everyone is invited! 💚
