Health for Life were delighted to be in the Guildhall to celebrate the ongoing success of Féile.

Congratulations to all of the staff, volunteers and community partners who work so hard throughout the year to make Féile what it is.

The annual festival in August is always one of the highlights of the year and we’re already excited about what’s to come in 2026.

We’ll be sharing details of our events very soon, including the return of the ever-popular Colm Quigley Jog in the Bog 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

Caina Healey Children’s Try-A-Tri! 💙

Over 100 children from 11 local primary schools came together to swim, cycle and run in memory of Caina 🏊‍♀️🚴‍♂️🏃‍♀️

After weeks of training in school, the fantastic young people completed the challenge and the atmosphere at Templemore Sports Complex was electric!

We’re already planning for 2027 - let’s make it even bigger! 🙌

A brilliant day and great craic at the first ever Gary Page Memorial Danderball Cup 💙

We came together to remember Gary and support his team, Don Boscos, with all funds raised going towards a minibus to help kids travel to matches.

A huge thank you to Gary’s family, friends and loved ones for their support, and to every player, team and person who donated or came along and to Seán Dolans GAC for use of their pitches.

The support shown was incredible and we’re delighted to help raise funds for the club.

Our donation box will remain open until Friday for anyone who would still like to contribute.

We’re already looking forward to hosting the tournament again next year - and hopefully welcoming even more teams along.

Health for Life were delighted to be part of Mental Health Awareness Week at St Cecilia's College, Derry.

Alongside a range of local organisations, the team spent the day chatting with pupils about positive mental health, wellbeing and the support available to young people, while staff also had the opportunity to avail of free health checks.

Thanks to everyone at St Cecilia’s for the warm welcome and to all those who helped make the day possible.

Salad Fest 🥗

On Friday we had Acorn Farm NI & Developing Healthy Communities in the centre hosting a one off session all about salads.

We enjoyed discussions on eating healthily and sustainability while enjoying a lovely Spring salad 😊
