Thank you to our amazing volunteer, Judy, who showed our families how to make pure apple juice. Thanks also to those volunteers who helped clear away; it's always a messy activity. What a brilliant day!

Thank you Emily of Free Cakes for Kids - Blackburn with Darwen for this fabulous PlayStation themed cake for one of our lucky children at Dare. 👌❤️

Level 16 unlocked!

Our volunteer, Emily, baked this fantastic PlayStation-themed cake for a boy in Darwen celebrating his 16th birthday after a referral from our friends at Darwen Asylum Refugee Enterprise - DARE We loved the clever "Level 16" detail!

"In this extraordinary exhibition we are confronted with the faces and stories of people who live in our community...The question is no longer 'Who is my neighbour?' but ‘Will I become a neighbour to the person in need?'

Mercy begins when we refuse to look away..."

Our Portraits of Courage Exhibition has been featured in Reformed, the the United Reformed Church’s magazine exploring theology, ethics, personal spirituality and Christian perspectives on social and current affairs.

Have you got 2 minutes to help us share stories of courage?
Following our exhibition at Blackburn Cathedral this June, we’re applying for funding to bring Portraits of Courage directly into local schools, colleges, and community spaces!
To show funders the impact this has on building empathy and inclusion, we’d love to hear voice.
Could you take 2 minutes to share your thoughts on our quick form in the comments below?

🧡💙🧡Thank you so much for your support! 🧡💙🧡
