Empire Electric Palace Theatre, Crook Empire Electric Palace Theatre (Crook) is a charity Registered in England, Charity no. 1164008 The initial response to the project has been overwhelming.

Few realised that behind the doors of Speedo - Car Parts and Accessories in South Street Crook, lay a hidden gem. A former cinema built in 1910 as The Electric Palace, still with much of its original features. It is our groups intention to save the building and restore it to a cinema along with a range of additional activities and Art themes. If restored, the building would become the oldest worki

ng cinema North of Birmingham and possibly the 4th oldest in the country. So please do join us, and keep up to date with what is going on. Hopefully there will be something for everyone.
