Fundraising in Action!
We wanted to show you a snippet of what the Turks Head fundraiser achieved. We’ve just been able to purchase:
25 Packs of Nappies 👶
120 Packs of Wipes 🧼
Maintaining a steady supply of these basics is one of our biggest challenges, and your support has made it possible for us to say "yes" to every family who walks through our doors in the coming weeks.

We are temporarily pausing most donations!

First off, a massive THANK YOU to our incredible community. Your generosity has been so overwhelming that our storerooms are currently bursting at the seams!

Our staff and volunteers have been working incredibly hard to sort through everything, and to make sure we keep only the excellent quality items you expect to find in our shop, we need a little bit of breathing room to catch up.

What we ARE still accepting:

While we can't take clothes or bric-a-brac right now, we are still in high need of:
Nappies & Wipes
Toiletries (Soap, toothpaste, deodorant, etc.)

What we are PAUSING:

All other physical donations (clothing, toys, household items, etc.) until further notice.

We want to ensure every item on our rails is top-notch for our customers, so thank you for understanding and for supporting our team while they work their magic! ✨

Keep an eye on this page—we’ll let you know as soon as we’re ready to open the doors for full donations again!

Huge thank you to Paul and Gina and the team at the Turks Head for raising over £300 for us this weekend. It will be going towards much needed nappies and wipes so we can continue to support families across our town. Thanks guys!

We’re proud to say we raised £300 for Darlington Vineyard Church 🎉

They do incredible work in our community, supporting mental health, mothers, and children who need that extra help and care. It’s a cause very close to our hearts and we’re grateful to everyone who donated and got involved.

Something’s brewing at Wesley’s!
We are working hard behind the scenes on some exciting refurbishments to make our space even better. Our doors will reopen soon for lots of playing, chatting and good coffee!

👶 Local Love & Little Nappies! 💙

​Huge shout-out to McNulty and Sons in Darlington today!

​We had a little nappy crisis, running low on stock to give away—trying to make sure every family gets exactly what they need—and the team at McNulty and Sons went above and beyond to sort us out with the perfectly sized stock. Amazingly they donated huge boxes in exactly the size our families need!

​This is what it looks like when our community comes together. We're so thankful for local businesses like theirs who step up to support families and make a real difference. 🙌
