We have volunteers out and about most days but, for anyone wishing to join us, we have someone at the Croft Road car park at 9 o’clock (for around 10 minutes) on the first Sunday of each month, the next one being Sunday 2nd August, the car park opposite Montargis Terrace. If you wanted to regularly volunteer, we can let you have the necessary equipment on Permanent loan. If you wanted to volunteer occasionally, we can help with that too by explaining where you can collect and return equipment whenever you wanted to litter pick. Sadly we don’t have an endless supply of equipment! Or you can always email us at [email protected]

Weekly update - w/c Monday 13th July.

Eight volunteers out and about collecting 18 bags this week. That makes 718 bags this year, so far!

Usual areas in the town and Jarvis Brook given some TLC while on the Forest, A22 parking areas, verge from Piglets to Pooh and around 20 car parks. We recently picked up 50 wine bottles from St John’s car park and went to check it out again this morning, only to find a further 25 wine bottles in the same area as that cleared before! 😟 With Ashdown Forest promoting fire risks on the Forest, this was a disappointing discovery.

A fly-tip spotted in Hadlow Down Road and was reported to Wealden Streetscene earlier in the week.

Thanks as always to our volunteer team that give up their time to .

Various car parks on Ashdown Forest, also given some TLC.

Thanks as always to all involved in 💚
