Bill is a regular weekly attendee (when he's not booking himself holidays to Spain 😎) of our Thursday Walking Football. Bill has been attending our weekly sessions from when we first started it.
As many players at our Walking Football sessions and across the nation, Bill is reaping the positives from attending and playing the sport, physically, mentally and socially 👏
We are delighted to announce the 2026 nominees for the prestigious 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝗵𝘂𝗿 𝗗𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, an honour that recognises individuals who embody the spirit, dedication, and sportsmanship that defined Arthur Duncan’s remarkable legacy.
The Arthur Duncan Award celebrates those who have made outstanding contributions to walking football—whether through leadership, commitment to community, exceptional playing spirit, or support for the development of the game across Scotland.
This year’s shortlist highlights a diverse and inspiring group of nominees from clubs across the country:

The winner of the Arthur Duncan Award 2026 is selected by the Walking Football Scotland board of trustees, with the announcement to be made in the New Year.
