58 Thurso Walk is now a Serco HMO.

Owner is Ian McCarthy. It was licenced until August 2029, vanished from the register and now a new licence for Serco.

That makes new 16 Serco HMOs in Corby in 2026 despite NNC Leader Martin Griffin's so called ‘Pause’ in Serco HMOs.

More than TWICE the number of HMO's in 2026 than in the ALL the rest of North Northamptonshire combined.

🚨 LINGFIELD WALK — INFORMATION WANTED 🚨

A local resident has informed us that workmen at a property on Lingfield Walk said it is being converted into an HMO.

The resident also reports that the workmen told a neighbour they “feel sorry for anyone who owns a house around here with that.”

Specialist asbestos-removal contractors have attended the property, confirming that refurbishment work is taking place.

However, we must be precise. searches have not identified a published HMO planning application, although that does not prove one does not exist or is not being processed.

Lingfield Walk appears to fall within the Kingswood Article 4 area, where planning permission is required before a family home can be changed into an HMO for three or more unrelated occupants.

We want to know, Has planning permission been sought?

This is a request for transparency—not an allegation that anybody has broken the law.
