We’re excited to be supporting this women’s health event at Beanfield Community Centre on Saturday.

Some of our team will be attending on the day to help raise awareness for the aspect of women’s health that isn’t spoken about🎗️

It’s a great opportunity to bring women, local services and community groups together, and to encourage open, friendly conversations about women’s health and wellbeing.

Georgia wanted to share her experience with you following cervical checks 🩷🩷

I will be forever grateful for these checkups.

In March 2024 I had my first smear test - this came back negative.

In November 2024 I saw gynacology who had some concerns about my symptoms and referred me to colposcopy

In December 2024, I saw colposcopy and they saw abnormal cells on my cervix. They took 3 biopsies and sent them off to be reviewed
I got the results back and it confirmed I had CIN2 abnormal cervical cells

I had surgery in April 2025 and during the surgery they removed the abnormal cells from my cervix

In May 2025 and November 2025 I had follow ups and they both came back clear

Today I had my 4th Colposcopy and the consultant did mention he thinks he can see HPV and now I just need to wait for the results to come back and hope everything is okay.

It feels like another step backwards and another hurdle 🤍🤍🤍

Our Digital Media Manager is running a 10k and a Half Marathon to raise money for our amazing group.

Georgia who suffers with both Endometriosis and Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome (formally known as PCOS) is taking on this challenge to push herself and help fundraise for our group that provides valuable support, advice and services to women in our community

By fundraising it alls us to keep our face to face meetings free for all to attend and to branch out to other areas

Georgia said: “This cause is particularly important to me as they have supported me with my Endometriosis and Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome and seeing the positive impact this group has had on others has inspired me to help raise both awareness and funds so they can continue to support others who may need their services”
