TW: pregnancy & child talk 💛
Hey girls 💛
My name’s Erin, I’m 26 and I work in a nursery. I’m also a proud mum to my little girl who’s 4, she’s honestly my whole world 🥰
I wanted to introduce myself and share a bit of my story. I was diagnosed with endometriosis and PCOS at 18, but my symptoms actually started much earlier, around the age of 13. Since then, it’s been a really long and difficult journey. I’ve spent years going in and out of hospital, having appointment after appointment, and going through multiple surgeries.
My endometriosis is quite severe and is attached to my bowel, kidneys and pelvis, which has made things even more challenging. There have been times where it’s felt completely overwhelming, especially dealing with chronic pain, recovery after surgeries, and just trying to live a normal day-to-day life around it all.
Despite everything, I’ve kept going, especially for my little girl. She’s my biggest reason to stay strong, even on the days that feel impossible.
I’ve joined this group because I’d really love to connect with others who understand what this is like. It can feel quite lonely at times, and I think having people around who truly get it makes such a difference. I’m here to listen, share experiences, and support others as well 🤍
Thank you for reading my story 💛
