Behind every event at The Oval is a network of talented people making it happen.
In 2026, 152 people worked and collaborated with us, musicians, actors, DJs, presenters, sound engineers, security professionals, event staff, marshals, line-dancing instructors, independent local traders and wellbeing instructors.
Together, they’ve helped make The Oval a thriving centre for music, culture and community life in Cliftonville.
But the impact goes beyond entertainment.
Our programme creates paid work, supports local independent businesses, provides opportunities for creative professionals and importantly gives young local people valuable paid workplace experience, skills and confidence.
As a community not-for-profit, we’re proud that The Oval doesn’t just bring people together, it creates opportunities, supports livelihoods and contributes to our local economy.
