🎶 And THAT is how you finish a festival! 💚🕺

After four incredible days of live music across Clevedon, who better to bring our very first amplify! festival to a close than a familiar Clevedon Live Music face… Jonah Hitchens ! 🎷🎶

Jonah brought the funk to a packed Riff Corner on Sunday night, with a brilliant crowd in VERY good spirits and ready for one final dance 🕺🙌🏻
And they didn’t even mind waiting a little longer for him to take to the stage… because Jonah had flown in especially from Norway to perform for us! 🇳🇴✈️ Now that’s commitment to the amplify! cause 😂💚

A local boy, Riff regular and someone who has performed for us at CLM events on Clevedon’s Bandstand a number of times over the years, it felt particularly special to have Jonah closing this new chapter for us.

A funky finish, a fantastic crowd and the perfect way to round off four days of music filling our town. 🎶💚

🎶 A little look back at amplify! at the Bandstand… 🎶

One of the most recognisable spots in Clevedon, the Bandstand was at the heart of the action one month ago today, with live music that included familiar faces and new discoveries getting plenty of people stopping by to listen 🫶

From the first notes of the day to the final performances, it was brilliant to see this beautiful little corner of Clevedon filled with music and people 💚

⚓🎶 Well, it turns out our volunteer Aaron has VERY good taste! 😂💚

The Barnacle Buoys were Aaron’s pick of the festival – and judging by the crowd gathered outside The Fallen Tree Micro Pub on Sunday 6th September, plenty of Clevedon agreed with him! Right in the thick of The Clevedon Sunday Market, the Buoys drew such a crowd that people were spilling out onto both sides of the street… and occasionally even into the road (sorry! 😅🙈) to hear their brilliant a ca****la sea shanties ⚓🎶

Familiar faces to many in Clevedon, The Barnacle Buoys were already much loved locally! But we still heard from SO many people afterwards who named this as one of their highlights of the entire festival 🙌🏻

It was exactly the kind of moment we hoped Sunday’s musical trail would create: people wandering through town, discovering live music, stopping to listen and suddenly finding themselves part of a brilliant crowd 💚

A huge thank you to The Fallen Tree Micropub for getting the Buoys involved and hosting such a memorable set – and to The Barnacle Buoys themselves. We were SO pleased to have you as part of our first amplify! ⚓🎶

Next up from our amplify! 2026 highlights… the beautiful voice of Katy Garden Soprano at Clevedon Bandstand 💚✨

What a setting for this performance! Local soprano Katy brought her gorgeous mix of classical, musical theatre, jazz and contemporary favourites to our Grade II listed Bandstand – with the sunshine making an appearance too ☀️🎭

It was wonderful to see so many people in the audience who’d come especially to hear Katy perform, alongside those who simply stopped to listen as her incredible voice carried right across Clevedon seafront 🫶🏻🎶

A wonderfully chilled Sunday afternoon, a brilliant crowd and one of those lovely amplify! moments we’re so glad our media team captured 💚

As the dust settles on amplify! 2026, we can finally start sharing some of the brilliant footage captured by our fantastic media team! 💚

And where better to start than with local favourites Squirrel Sisters - Banddoing what they do best in Queen’s Square ☀️🐿️🎶

We LOVED having Squirrel Sisters back on our stage. They brought the sunshine, feel-good tunes and had the crowd singing and dancing along 🙌🏻 It was so good to have the gang back, and of course a special shout-out to Martin, who stepped in for Sara on bass and fitted in seamlessly 👏🏻

Sunshine, brilliant live music and a very happy Queen’s Square… this is what amplify! 2026 was all about 💚🎶 And there’s plenty more festival footage to come! 👀

It’s one week since amplify! began, and we’ve just about recovered 😝 So we’re raising a glass to our brilliant festival sponsors Wild West C***r🍻 The support of Matt, Sean and Chloe helped us fulfil our dream of turning amplify! into a fully fledged four-day festival 🙌🏻🎶

And they didn’t just sponsor us! Before the festival, Wild West welcomed us to their farm, where we got to explore the vineyard and orchards, learn more about their organic approach and even see the c***r being bottled by hand 🍏 Then, come festival weekend, Wild West c***r was stocked across our venues, with the team themselves behind the bars at Queen’s Square Open Air on Saturday and the Bandstand on Sunday 🍺🎶

As a small, family-run local business with a real community focus, Wild West felt like such a natural fit for amplify! From their ethos to their brilliantly funky branding (and, of course, the c***r 🤠), we loved having them as part of the festival 💚
