After the new park was built, we have been working on further improvements in the park and the organization of events for the community.

We'll be at the park, on one of the picnic benches, from 9.50 with information for the walks.
Then picnic and games from 1pm!

Suggested starting times for the family walk on Thursday:
10.00 - 7.5miles route
11.30 - 3.3 miles route
12.00 - 1 mile accessible route
Starting point of all routes is the Badger Park, where you will be able to collect information for each route.

Your local Safer Neighbourhood Team will be at Brockwell Park on 11/04/26 at 11.00 -11.30

Please take this opportunity to raise any concerns you may have and to find out what we are doing to tackle the issues that matter to you.

Update

We have met with the Council (CBC) , police and fire service .

CCTV is to be installed .
Signage to be put up regarding CCTV.
Police have been actively investigating.
PCSOs to visit park to engage with the community .
Fire service to look at education around fires.
Tarmac to be replaced and metal benches installed.

A really positive meeting ☺️

Update

CCTV cameras will be going up and there is a meeting planned with the Council and the community safety team to discuss the way forward.

We will also be looking at funding to replace the benches and the tarmac.

We are absolutely devastated that there has been another fire on the park and another one of our picnic benches has been destroyed in a mindless act of vandalism.
We will be speaking to the community safety team today, who made regularly with the crime and disorder panel made up of police on fire service. We will keep you posted.

Cancelled !
The static Brockwell and Loundsley Green Councillor surgery at Loundsley Green Community Centre is cancelled tomorrow.

Good news !
The council plan to install a more substantial dog poo bin to replace the one that was removed a few weeks ago . They have apologise for the delay but awaiting for an end to the frosty period so that a new bin base can be laid and then the bin will be installed.
