🏕️🔥🐇 District Survival Skills Weekend 🐇🔥🏕️

This weekend, some of our older Scouts took part in the District Survival Skills Weekend, putting their outdoor skills to the test!

They built their own shelters to sleep in on Saturday night, refreshed their first aid knowledge, learned how to safely sharpen knives, made their own billy cans from catering-sized baked bean tins and coat hangers, and prepared and cooked their own meals.

Most importantly, they worked brilliantly as a team, embraced every challenge, and had a fantastic time throughout the weekend.

We're incredibly proud of the effort, resilience, and teamwork they showed.

👏 Well done, Scouts! 👏🐇

1st Cheshunt Scouts Reach for the Sky! ✈️

Members of 1st Cheshunt Scouts recently reached for the skies during a fantastic gliding day organised by Hertfordshire Scouts at Cambridge Gliding Centre.

All of our young people had an amazing experience and were even given the opportunity to take the controls of the glider while in the air. It was a truly memorable day that inspired confidence, adventure, and new skills.

We're always looking for volunteers to help us provide exciting opportunities like this for more young people. If you'd like to get involved, please send us a message through our page or email [email protected]

We currently have:

Beavers** (ages 6–8)
Cubs** (ages 8–10½)
Scouts** (ages 10½–14½)

Come and join the adventure!
