You guys seem to love a pick of me and D, which got me thinking…

Felt called to share around this one, for all my gorgeous single friends, all the women in partnerships who compared their experience to what they see on this strange application.

I feel blessed to be in this union but equally it’s been such a grounding and at times TRIGGERING dynamic in my life.

Our relationship has shown me a deeper connection than I was use too but only through us both being willing to sit with and work through our ‘stuff’

He’s a good man (and he scrubs up well) but instagram relationship culture sometimes make me feel 🫠🤣

Life is the ceremony, but creating the moments that honor that is 🔑

Today that looked like having our breakfast outside in the summer house (complete with heater on 🤣)

Chatting, drinking cacao and catching up after spending the weekend apart whilst I was at a beautiful wedding and Elijah had some extra grandparent time

And also building combine harvesters from my tuning forks 🥹

These moments between us are so pure and simple. I love being able to witness our two worlds meeting in the middle 🫶🏻✨

After 2 and a bit years of solo parenting, following my sons fathers arrest, I met someone new.

At 22 years old, I went through such a deep grief that I felt love was not on the cards for me

That no man would want to take the load of raising my child with me

I felt so much shame for wanting to be in a partnership whilst being a mother

And then I met D, we bully slowly, took time for him to meet E and to watch their bond unfold is rather specular.

One of my biggest concerns when me and E’s father split was ‘how can I provide a strong Masculine Role model’

With support form my AMAZING parents, I feel we did a pretty good job, but seeing them together really feels like the cherry on the cake.

Sometimes the best manifestations really do catch you off guard.

Sometimes they take Tuning in to notice how much joy they bring.

Sometimes loss makes space for the most beautiful joy ✨🫶🏻
