CHANGE OF NAME ANMD EMPHASIS

We are now Essex Police Community Choir, open to anyone and everyone who wants to enjoy singing for good causes. We rehearse on a Tuesday at Police HQ in Chelmsford from 7.30pm-9.30pm, perform around 5 concerts a year for good causes, have around 35 members singing in four parts, pride ourselves on being the best at what we do - and we are a friendly bunch!
At £100 p.a. subs, covering around 48 weeks a year and with all music supplied, we think we are offer a far better opportunity than many choirs run as businesses.

21st September - West Mersea Parish Church
14th December - St Luke's Tiptree - our MD's final concert with us

Also there is a 35th Anniversary Dinner at the Warren Golf Club on 19th November, marking Norman's retirement as MD

For the first time in Essex, two of the country's leading Police Choirs are getting together for a joint concert in the wonderful Chelmsford Cathedral. As well as separate numbers from each choir, there will be joint numbers featuring over 70 voices, including One Day More and Bohemian Rhapsody. Added to this will be a rendition of Highland Cathedral complete with pipers and drums. All in all an enjoyable programme that anyone will, enjoy
Doors open at 6.45pm, performance starts at 7.30pm and finishes around 9.45pm. Tickets @ £10 each can be purchased on the door but also in advance from either 07528 865981 or via [email protected] where you will receive one free tickets for every 4 you purchase
