We dont usually meet in January but we decided to just meet for an * afternoon* get together to get some business out of the way. As President I have never felt comfortable with discussing stuff with a speaker waiting to do their bit.
I must say it was a lovely couple of hours with a lot of questions answered, including planning our birthday bash in April. Something they would like to do again.

March we have open meeting with Mary Newtons 3rd visit. Hidden in plain sight for us this time.

Gosh how time flies...end of 2025 was wound down with November AGM. Our tiny committee increased by one as Margaret volunteered and our three officers agreed to continue for another year. So with myself as President, Val our Secretary and Michele taking care of the purse we ended our evening with a quiz and hilarious verse from President Pat.
December we supported a Christmas Craft Fayre by providing refreshments, organising raffle and having our own cake sale and bric a brac stall..which provided additional funds for our 100th birthday bash in 2026. Also supported Pat with the Chelpin Players drama group production interval buffet and bar and raffle. Which was much appreciated by the group.

December meeting we enjoyed the company of Belinda and her Crafting Crew who provided us with lots of twiddly bits to make a cone Xmas tree...a lovely relaxing evening.

We are a small group who enjoy each others company, as we have done for many years..
Visitors are always made welcome. monthly get togethers are a great oppotunity to just * be with people, have conversation and cuppa*

March is an open to everyone evening with our Forensic friend, Mary Newton. This will be her 3rd visit to us with another different talk about her work...
