Gainsborough Community Choir

After a short break over the half term, the choir are back tomorrow evening. Everyone is welcome to come along, we sing a mixture of songs from pop classics, songs from the movies, oldies, newies etc etc 🙂 There are no auditions and there are no charges to along and sing with us. The main thing is to want to sing and have fun.

We recently found out about the competition. Even though it only gave us 6 weeks, we thought we would have a go which meant writing a new arrangement for the song from their recent advert, practicing and recording it. Thanks to Colin, our accompanist and Elizabeth, our Choir leader, it came together and though not polished as much as we would have liked, here is our rendition of 'Where the sun don't shine' If you watch till the end you will see that we did have fun working on this song :)

Looking for something new to do in 2026 ? Love to sing ?

Everyone is welcome to join us at Gainsborough Community Choir, we meet at Landseer Road Methodist Church on Thursday nights from 6.45 to 8.15. There are no auditions and no fees to pay, you just need the desire to sing 😊

We sing a wide range of songs including, A Million Dreams, Let It Be, The Rose, When You Believe, Africa, Perfect, Falling Slowly, Hallelujah, Fix You, Angels, Bring Him Home. Mama Mia and lots more from pop songs, musicals, classics etc.

Do you love to sing ? come along and join us on a Thursday evening at Landseer Road Methodist Church. Doors open at 6.45 and we finish about 8.15 each week. We sing a large selection of songs from all sorts of genre's, songs such as... A million dreams, Perfect, Angels, Bring him home, The rose, Yesterday, Do you hear the people sing, When you believe, Chasing cars, Lovely day and many many more.

There are no Auditions and no charges, you just need the desire to sing , we are a very friendly choir who enjoy singing together, come and join us on a Thursday evening :)

Last Saturday we sang at Landseer Road Methodist church's Christmas Fair. A great day and we were glad to be a part of this again :)
