🛶💦 What an adventure for our Beavers! 💦🛶
Our Beavers had an amazing time out on the water, trying their hand at kayaking! 🚣‍♀️🚣‍♂️ They showed fantastic teamwork, courage and determination, and most importantly… they had SO much fun! 😄💙
The leaders are incredibly proud of every single one of them for giving it a go, supporting each other and getting stuck into the adventure. 🌟👏
Well done, Beavers — what a fantastic experience and memories to take away! 🦫💙🛶

A very big thank you to the 46th Fife Scout group in Cowdenbeath for supporting us in doing this. They supplied the equipment and leaders to make this possible for our Beavers! 🥳

Our wild flower area at the scout hall is blooming , full of butterflies and other wildlife . Also the hedge planted in November is growing alongside the fruit trees . Beavers the raised beds will need a bit of weeding when you return !!

It has been a busy summer for our Scout Group culminating last weekend in a group camp at Fordell celebrating 40 years of Beavers and 110 years of Cubs. A great time was had by everyone and we were delighted to share in Marie our lead volunteers Silver Acorn Award and Rhiannon our Beaver Leader’s wood badge celebrations - congratulations to you both.

Do you know a young adventurer aged 6–8 years who loves to have fun, make new friends, and try exciting activities? We have spaces available in our Beaver Scout section, and we'd love to welcome them!

At Beavers, every week is a new adventure. From outdoor games and nature activities to crafts, cooking, science experiments, teamwork, and learning new skills, there's always something exciting to look forward to. We help young people build confidence, develop life skills, and create lasting friendships—all while having lots of fun!

Whether it's exploring the outdoors, earning badges, or taking part in community events and camps, there's something for everyone.

If you'd like your child to join the adventure or want to find out more, send us a message—we'd be happy to answer any questions!

A tombola and donations on the night raised £90 for camp funds .

Come on out and experience the thrill of the Highland Games… only mini!!

The Mini Highland Games are BACK!!! It’s with great fanfare we want to invite you for an afternoon of fun for the littlest competitors and the community as a whole!!

When: Sunday May 24
Time: 1pm - 4pm
Where: New Scout Hall (end of Orebank Rd, behind St Ninian’s)
What: All things Highland Games - on a smaller scale!! Traditional races, shot-put, music, dancing, and the mighty caber toss!!
Who: YOU!! Everyone is welcome!
Cost: NOTHING!!! Just like the big Highland Games (Sept 13th) entry is completely free!

The competition events are also FREE!!! Bring those little legs with big energy and race for gold!!

Bring a chair, a snack, and a friend!!!
