Official Ride of Respect

Official Ride of Respect The Ride of Respect is a annual mass ride by motorcyclists to pay tribute both to our tri-service personnel and to the fallen and their families

The Ride of Respect is a mass ride by motorcyclists to pay tribute both to our tri-service personnel and to the fallen and their families The ride is organised by Julia Stevenson and her team. Julia organised the first Ride through taking with her over 15,000 motorcycles and over 22,000 riders and pillions. In 2011 we organised a second ride to show our support to our tri service troops, the tow

nsfolk of Royal Wootton Bassett and also to say Goodbye and Thank you to RAF Lyneham. Over the past 5 years' rides we have raised around a half million pounds for military charities.

Next year on
9th 10th 11th july 2027 we are arranging another unique ride along with camping and entertainment. With the ride of Respect hosting it.
Most of us have had dealings with cancer and how this horrible disease affects not only the person but family and friends. Cancer Research has done a tremendous job so far with lots of breakthroughs in cures for the different types of cancer. So lets help more in having a huge ride for Cancer Research.
Monday the team secured Manston airport, 11 acres of land to have a great weekend for us all, North, South,West and East of uk I am limited to 5000 people.
The USRs are again onboard to organise the routes and safety of the rides so as we know it will be a brilliant day.
However lots of things to deal with and sort out.
But please put this weekend in your diaries and i promise you a great weekend with entertainment, stalls, stunts, competitions, food and even a bikerdogs show. (If its not a heatwave).
Details in the following months. If you can help at the weekend or can suggest something you think we should have please get in touch.
Also can you copy and share to other biker sites.
Thankyou.

Hello! I wanted to share an important cause with you. Julia Stevenson, a beloved figure in the military charity community, needs our support to convert her Harley into a trike so she can continue riding and raising funds for those who serve. Every donation counts, and even sharing the campaign can make a big difference. Please consider helping out or spreading the word. Thank you!

Today at 1330 we say goodbye to John Smart who at the very start of the The Mothers day ride in 2010 John and his wife Maureen Mogs Smart who lived in Wootton Bassett offered their help and knowledge to make the whole weekend special for the 22500 bikers that took part. He and Maureen did so much and we all became friends from then after and each ride since have been an enormous effort by them in making things run right Wootton Bassett end (now Royal Wootton Bassett).
I visited Calne last year and there was John once again meeting me with a smile. John was one of a kind and a man I will never forget along with his lovely family. RIP John from the ROR xx
