Thank you to all those that came and saw us at our Uniform Sale this morning! ☀️

We hope to make this a regular thing (every half term or so) we’ll keep you posted on the next one…

For now we’ve got a special on
👕 Blue Polo Tops - 5 for £2

Get yours from our website, PTA rep or drop us an email.

We are still in GREAT need of:
👧 Girls cardigans of all ages
👦 Boys shorts (especially 5-6)

And of course we welcome any donations of good quality uniform across the board, please donate in our BLUE BIN at Blands, Garlands Reception or your PTA rep.

So far this school year we have raised £73 from just second hand uniform sales alone and we are forever grateful! 💙

The Burghfield Common Federation (Mrs Bland’s Infant & Nursery School and Garland Junior School) have a WhatsApp group (ran by the parents) for all years from Little Acorns right up to Year 6!

This is a great way to ask questions and keep updated with school and PTA events.

If you are not on the WhatsApp groups and would like to be, please email us at the PTA and we will get this sorted for you - your details will not be passed to anyone else apart from the person will add you to the community.

Please provide the following information to [email protected] ;

✨ WELCOME BACK 💙✨

The PTA hope the first week back has gone as smoothly as possible for everyone, that you’re all managing to settle back into the school routine and have had a lovely summer 😎

👀 We’ve got some exciting events lined up over the next few months, here’s a sneak peak with more details coming over the next couple of weeks!

NEW THIS TERM: We’ll be using our own platform for event tickets 🎟️ 👇

This means you can purchase well in advance and hopefully it’ll help conquer some school admin 😅

AND 2nd Hand Uniform will be available to purchase online too

We have had to make the difficult decision to postpone the Family Colour Run due to low ticket sales. We appreciate that there may be many reasons for this but we know how excited the kids were at participating in this event again. So we have decided to rearrange for the later part of the school year on 14th May. If you have purchased your ticket already, this will still be valid for the event. If you would prefer a refund, please email us at [email protected]

Following our AGM, we have offered to support the school by fundraising for much needed Air Con. Therefore it’s really important that we can make our events as successful as we can to raise these much needed funds. We will share our year ahead plan of all events and have these all available on our website shortly. Thank you for your support.

It’s come to our attention that one of the cuddly toys bought on the pre-loved stall at the summer fayre yesterday contained a sharp object within it. While we wash all donations, they are not rigorously checked for dangerous items as we wouldn’t expect to receive anything like this in the first place. If you did purchase any cuddlies at the fayre, please give them a check over! Thanks, the PTA
