A milestone for Eliza who was born at 27 weeks in 2023! We’re grateful to see this day and owe huge thanks to the incredible team of angels at Calderdale Neonatal Unit. Eliza was so proud to put on her uniform, and she can’t wait to meet lots of friends at “big girl school”!

Eliza spent 62 days in intensive care and special care. She’s such a lucky girl to have been surrounded by the magnificent consultants and nurses at Calderdale SCBU. You’re all heroes and we’ll all be forever grateful for the unbeatable care that Eliza received.

We hope you’ve had the best first week at school Eliza & thank you for the update and the lovely comments xx

Hi everyone. We just wanted to send you a quick message, in honour of Cora’s 1st Birthday today, to say thank you for everything you did for her (and us!) in the almost 10 weeks we were with you on the unit.

Cora is thriving. She’s growing & developing every single day and she is even starting nursery next week!!

We can’t thank you enough for everything and wanted to share this special celebration with you ❤️🥳🎈🎂

Hi, I just wanted to share an update with you guys. Oliver turned 1 yesterday and had the best birthday surrounded by all his favourite people. We wanted to send all our love and thanks to all the nurses who looked after Oliver during his 7 weeks on the ward, we are forever greatful and talk about you all a lot. You made a very difficult time much easier and I don’t know how we would have coped if you weren’t all such lovely humans. A massive thanks to all the drs as well. ❤️❤️

Hi! Just wanted to update you that Elijah is now 3 today!! You guys cared for him for 17 days when he was born 7 weeks early. And he is the most cheeky, beautiful little man! He’s also now a big brother!! He’s is doing so amazing with everything. Thankyou again to you all for the care and love we got from you all in a difficult time xx

Tobias is 5 today!!! Every year you guys cross our minds and it hits home just how lucky we were to have all your support during our stay. He’s growing so tall, riding his bike everywhere & enjoying his first summer holidays after finishing reception and will be heading into year 1 soon enough!

I just thought I’d give you guys an update on Reggie. He has just turned 1 on the 24th of July and is smashing it. He potentially has cerebral palsy so is behind in his milestones but with therapy we are working hard to reach them.

He is a whopping 23lb now compared the 2lb 12oz baby he was haha!

We can’t thankyou all enough, you will be apart of our conversations for life I think haha! ❤️ xx

Can’t believe a whole year has passed where my twin girls Maziyah & Maliyah spent 19 days being looked after by the team with so much love and care with you.

The girls celebrated their 1st birthday on the 04/08/2026. Thank you for your help getting my girlies strong to come home and celebrate their 1st birthday milestone xx
