Brigg Community Toolshed We are a page for the reigistered charity Men In Sheds Brigg
which provide a community toolshed for all people (Men & even Women)
must be over 18 years old ..

Instead of just using your own toolshed, come down and use the community-toolshed
Drop in Monday, Wed 11am to 2pm, Friday 12-3
and some Sunday afternoons
Some out of hours for markets & socials due to insurance rules. We have tools talk and tea. Work on your own projects or things to help the community. Current hours
Drop in Mon or Wednesday 11-2pm or Friday afternoons 12-3pm
Look out for other special out of hours times like markets and social events

Aluminium or steel rods 20 or 22nm thick solid ? Anyone got any ?
It's to fix the broken trampoline poles here at the kids playgrounds at the football club
If we stick a 6 inch bar up inside the broken tubes that will secure them.
We need about 5 lengths of about 6 inches

Ladies session reminder for this Thursday at 1pm. We have our wreaths to finish making along with 3 orders to start on, with plenty of other crafts to try out, crochet, peg bags, bug hotels etc, not forgetting tea and biscuits and company and coffee. X

Shed week
- Monday normal shed day
- Wednesday : early start 10:30am as Humber region shedders are coming down for a meetup and presentations including the Tools for Africa folk
- Thursday afternoon : Ladies ONLY craft session ..all Thursdays in September
- Friday Shed Day from 12pm-3pm
- Saturday craft market stall

- Monday 31st It's a bank holiday so most people are away, but I will probably pop in to check on the rain covers and to tidy up
- Wednesday 2nd : 11-2pm
(Some people are away due to the Tour of Britain cycle race passing through some nearby Lincolnshire villages Caistor/ South Kelsey/ Waddingham )
- Thursday 3rd : 1pm to 4pm Ladies Only Shed session
Every Thursday in September
- Friday 4th Sept : 11-2pm Shed session
- Saturday 5th : 8am -2pm Flea Market (weather permitting)
for craft sales/ fundraising / PR and ColRep Collecting Items for Repair)
MartinO has fixed the Heritage Centre's Regency chair
- Monday 7th : 11-2pm shed session
- Wednesday 9th : EARLY for Our Regional Meeting
Meet shedders from other sheds across the Humber region
inc presentation by the Tools For Africa team
10:30am to about 1:30pm
- Thursday 10th : 1pm to 4pm Ladies Only Shed session
- Friday 11th Sept : 11-2pm Shed session
etc.. We soon to a survey to ask what shed hours are convenient for people and whether some days per month should be Men only

Wednesday 9th of September : Humber Region Meetup
Shedders from the 20 community sheds in our area will be coming to the function room at Brigg Town Football Club to chat and hear a short talk from the region and the people from Tools With A Mission https://www.twam.uk/
who collect some of our excess tool donations and send them to projects in Africa.
