Special Announcement from the football club
about the sudden death of the Under 14s manager at yesterday's award ceremony
Our condolences to his family and all involved

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our U14 Manager, Andrew Casey, following a medical emergency at our Junior Presentation Day yesterday.

Despite the immediate assistance given at the scene by fellow coaches and the best efforts of the emergency services, Andrew sadly passed away.

Andrew was more than just a coach to our club. He was a dedicated manager, a friendly face to everyone he met, and someone who gave so much of his time and energy to his players and the wider club community. His passion for football, commitment to his team, and genuine kindness made a lasting impact on so many young people and families. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Our thoughts, prayers, and heartfelt condolences are with Andrew’s family, friends, players, and everyone affected by this heartbreaking loss.

We would also like to express our sincere thanks to those who responded so quickly to offer assistance and support during the incident.

At this incredibly difficult time, we kindly ask that the privacy of Andrew’s family and those closest to him is respected.

Further updates regarding club activities and any arrangements to honour Andrew’s memory will be shared in due course.

This photo was taken earlier that morning at our Junior Presentation Day, doing what Andrew loved — playing football with his son.

Once a Zebra, always a Zebra🦓🤍
