The show sees Stacey Solomon and her team help families declutter, reorganise, and transform their homes in just one week.

The Christmas Elf arrived at the centre this morning to wish Slimming World a very Happy Christmas & New Year! 🎄
Our Elf also sends Christmas greetings from the Trustee's, Chair and management committee to all our members and people who have supported the centre over the years. We wish you all a very Happy Christmas and New Year, look forward to seeing you next year ❤️

The Oakfield Centre had the pleasure of hosting the Lymphoma care Christmas party this week. Patients, family and friends enjoyed an afternoon of Christmas cheer. The nurse supplied an excellent tea for everyone and lots of raffle prizes. Hope everyone had a great afternoon! 🎄🎅🤶🎁🎉

12 Days of Giving is the festive final phase of the Benefact Group Movement for Good. In December, they're giving 120 charities £1,000 each over 12 days. The first draw takes place today and the last on December 16th with 10 charities drawn every weekday.

This event is part of a project that is in collaboration with the University of Birmingham and the WMCA called WM-Adapt. It aims to work with local communities to identify climate change challenges and potential climate adaptation solutions. They wish to work with local citizens to hear their views and experiences. It will focus on sharing views on wild weather (snow, heat, flooding...), looking at how it affects lives, homes and local community. There's no need to have any knowledge about climate adaptation, its all about hearing local experiences and views.

The sessions are informal and lunch will be provided. All participants will also receive a £75 love2shop voucher for their time.

Our Crafty Tuesday group held a Christmas Fayre and here are some photos of the things that were on sale 🥰 ALL these things are handmade, they work so hard and love making them. New members always welcome to join. They meet at the centre on Tuesday afternoons from 2 to 3.30pm. 💕

📚Huge thanks to the National Literacy Trust in Black Country for working with us to create a book swap area in room 4. These books have been provided as part of a nationwide initiative to get children reading for fun more😀. The books are there to browse, take home, lend to friends, and even keep! Please just take what you need and when you are finished with them, return so someone else can enjoy them.

Reading is a great way to escape your everyday, relax and boost your mood. Children who enjoy reading are also more likely to feel happier and do better at school.
