🎃👻 happy halloween from alveley first responders! 🚑

wishing everyone a fun, spooky and safe halloween! 🧡🕸️ here are a few tips to help keep everyone safe tonight:

🦺 be seen – wear something bright or reflective and carry a torch. 🔦
🚦 road safety – use pavements and take care when crossing roads.
👻 stick together – children should stay with a trusted adult and never enter a stranger’s home.
🍬 check your treats – have an adult check sweets before eating.
🎭 costume safety – make sure costumes fit properly and be careful around candles and naked flames.
🐶 think of others – be considerate of neighbours, elderly residents and pets. ❤️

🚨 our alveley first responders will be on duty throughout halloween, ready to respond if needed. 🚑❤️

have a fang-tastic halloween, stay safe and look after each other! 🎃👻🧡

💚🌼 world mental health day – 10th october 🌼💚

Today, we’re sending love and support to everyone, wherever they are on their mental health journey. 💚

Whether you’re feeling stuck, experiencing loneliness, supporting a friend, recovering from burnout, living with a mental health condition or simply going through a difficult time, please remember that you are not alone. 💚🌻

As first responders, we know how important it is to look after others, but looking after ourselves matters too. It’s okay not to be okay, it’s okay to ask for help, and it’s okay to take time for yourself. 🚑💚

A small act of kindness, a listening ear or simply asking someone “are you okay?” can make a bigger difference than you realise. 🤝🌼

Let’s continue to look out for one another, break the stigma around mental health and remind each other that no one has to face things alone. 💚

From everyone at alveley first responders, we’re sending love to our community today and every day. 🌻💚
