🚂 Braintree parents, Tiny Track & Play is coming in September! ❤️

If you’ve got a little one 18 months+ who loves trains, cars and imaginative play, come and give us a try. We’re really excited to be bringing our monthly toddler and children’s play sessions to Rayne Village Hall! 🚂🚗

This is a brand new venue for us, so we can’t wait to meet lots of new families from Rayne, Braintree and the surrounding villages and introduce you to the Tiny Track & Play way of play.

We keep numbers very limited for each session so it stays calm, relaxed and easy for little ones to play and explore.

📅 First session: Wednesday 30th September

🎶 A HUGE THANK YOU! 🎶

A massive thank you to everyone who came along to our 80s & 90s Music Night! 🕺💃

We hope you had a fantastic time dancing (and drinking) and taking a trip down memory lane with all those classic tunes! 🎤🎸✨

It was wonderful to see so many of you enjoying the night, and we really appreciate your support.

You raised over £600 towards the playground refurbishment!

A massive thank you to the village hall committee volunteers for organising the event.👍

Until the next one… keep those 80s & 90s hits playing! ❤️🎶

Keep an eye out for details of our next event, the Christmas Fayre, Friday 20th November 2026.

👏Thanks to volunteers, Kyle Hill and family and the Village Hall Committee the BMX track has had the worn surface relaid after 5 hours of shovelling, mixing, watering and sculpting this weekend.

🚳 If the track could be left to settle and harden for a day that would be great, so please avoid riding on it. We'll remove the cones and barrier when it's ready.

The maintenance of the hall and park is all done by volunteers. If you could spare some time to help out that would be great. We are due to have a working party to carry out maintenance to the playground and other areas of the field soon so keep an eye out for our post asking for help, we'd be very grateful.👍

💪Can you spare some time tomorrow morning (19/07/26) to help with the maintenance of the BMX track?

🪏 If you have a wheelbarrow, shovel or watering can then please come along and help us get the track in good condition for the kids (and big kids) over the summer.☀️

🕘 9AM - Sunday 19th July 2026 Rayne BMX Track

Our thanks to the Village Hall Committee volunteers who worked on the track today, good job!

We will be carrying out maintenance on the morning of Saturday 18th July 2026 to the BMX/pump track , ready for the summer holidays. This is to repair wear and tear to the track surface. If you can spare some time to help, we'll be there from 9am. The facility will be closed in the morning.
