BUILDING WORKS - Some building works are due to start tomorrow on the village hall. These works will be on the roof and will require scaffolding. We hope the disruption will be kept to a minimum. We expect these works to take no longer than 1 week.

The works are for solar panel installation to help reduce the hall's expenditure on energy costs and work towards our aim of a greener village hall. These works will carried out by Solar Power GB.

The works have been funded by a grant from Braintree District Council for which we are extremely grateful to have been awarded.

Your Village Hall!

We would like your input of what you would like to see happen at the village hall this year. Please remember this is your village hall for you all to benefit from.

We are currently assessing the viability of a warm room / work from home location.

Potential ideas include bingo nights, quiz nights and live music nights.

Following on from the success of the fish and chip, is there a craving for an additional food van serving something different?
