Brackley Rugby Club The Official Brackley Rugby Union Football Club Page We currently field 1 senior side playing in the Midlands East Division 3.

Brackley RUFC is a family orientated club formed in 1976 to address the growing need for Rugby Union Football in the town. There is also a Veteran’s Team (The Broken Brigade) who still maintain a passion for rugby away from the intensity of 1st XV action. We also play host to a thriving Youth Section (minis/midis/juniors) with more than 100 names registered and many local parents in support. Our n

on-playing social members are in excess of 200 and they provide a good deal of backing to the club. Our roots within the community are growing and we wish to develop strong relationships with key local businesses to take this club forward.

Brackley Rugby Club – Walking Rugby Cup Winners 2026!

What a season for Brackley Rugby Club Walking Rugby.

Across four tournaments, starting in March, the team played 17 matches, winning 12, drawing 2 and losing just 3. Going into the final tournament, Brackley sat second in the league and knew they had work to do.

The knockout stages began with a 6-2 quarter-final win over Saints, followed by a strong 4-1 victory against Leamington in the semi-final. That set up a final against Old Leamingtonians, where Brackley secured a hard-fought 2-1 win to lift the cup and finish as overall tournament champions.

The competition was played throughout in the true spirit of walking rugby, with great sportsmanship shown by all teams involved.

Congratulations to everyone at Brackley Rugby Club. Every player played their part, worked hard for one another and performed brilliantly as a team. A fantastic achievement and a well-deserved trophy to bring home. 🏆

Congratulations to Zara Pickwick, who makes her first start for the Leicester Tigers Women on Saturday!

Zara started her rugby journey at Brackley in our mini section before moving to Swans to continue her development. Through hard work and dedication, she has now earned a place in the Leicester Tigers starting line up.

Her journey shows just how far rugby can take you.
