🌊 Brackley Junior Sea Cadets – Young Leaders in the Making! 🌟

This weekend, some of our amazing Juniors took part in a Young Leaders Course, where they spent the weekend playing loads of fun team games and learning what it really means to be a leader. ⚓️

They didn’t just develop confidence and leadership skills — they also came away with their very own toolkit of games they can now lead back at the unit! 🧰🎉

We’re incredibly impressed by the enthusiasm, teamwork, and positive attitude they showed throughout. Well done to all who took part 💙✨

Our senior cadets continued their CTP training this week, making great progress as always.
Meanwhile, our juniors carried on with their Earthshot Challenge, creating fantastic bird feeders to help local wildlife.

It’s been a very busy and exciting weekend for PO Napier, who has officially taken the first big step on his officer journey!

We’re incredibly proud to announce that he has successfully passed ODP1 — a fantastic achievement and a true reflection of his hard work, dedication and commitment to progressing within the Sea Cadets.

🌊 A Fantastic Night at Brackley Sea Cadets! ⚓️

Tonight we were honoured to welcome the Captain of the Sea Cadets to our unit! It was a brilliant opportunity for him to see the hard work, dedication and enthusiasm our cadets bring every week.

A huge shout-out to our Able Cadets, who took full charge of the evening — planning, organising, and delivering all the training sessions themselves! Their leadership and professionalism shone through from start to finish.

They delivered lessons on:
💨 Meteorology
⚓️ Seamanship, ranks & rates
⭐️ Junior training, including safe vs. unsafe scenarios and some fun target practice!

We’re incredibly proud of how our cadets represented the unit tonight.

🌊 Brackley Sea Cadets – Weekly Round-Up! ⚓

Last week our cadets enjoyed a brilliantly varied and engaging evening of learning! From seamanship and leadership to essential health & safety skills, our young people threw themselves into every challenge with enthusiasm and teamwork. 👏

Meanwhile, our Junior Cadets, inspired by the spirit of Remembrance Day, spent time exploring the stories behind military medals—discovering their meanings, histories, and the remarkable individuals who earned them. They also enjoyed diving into our unit’s own history, learning what makes Brackley Sea Cadets such a special place to belong. 🌺

A huge well done to all our cadets for their hard work, curiosity, and fantastic attitude throughout the evening. We’re proud of every one of you! 💙

Brackley Sea Cadets at the Town Remembrance Parade 🇬🇧

Yesterday, our cadets were honoured to take part in Brackley’s Remembrance Parade, joining the community to pay tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

We are incredibly proud of our cadets for their smart turnout, excellent conduct, and the respect they showed throughout the event.

A big thank you to all the organisers of the parade, the veterans, and the people of Brackley who came out to show their support.

🌺 Brackley Sea Cadets Supporting the Royal British Legion 🌺

Our cadets have been busy today lending a helping hand to the Royal British Legion, selling poppies at Tesco Brackley. It was wonderful to see their enthusiasm and community spirit on display as they supported such an important cause.

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by to donate and show their support — every poppy counts in helping the RBL continue their incredible work for our veterans and their families.
