Are you retired and at a loose end, not knowing what to do? Well, West Bletchley Shed offer a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for both men and women who would like to learn how to make things in wood or perhaps if you have a higher level of skills, you might be able to pass those skills onto others. We undertake small jobs which benefit the local community as well as make things to sell that help defray Shed overheads and allow it to grow.
The Shed currently meets at the Rickley Park Pavilion on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday morning from 10 am until 12.30. No appointment is necessary, just turn up, introduce yourself, and one of the Trustees will show you around. Don’t worry if you have never used a machine tool, full guided instruction will be provided. Since September 2025, we also run a craft session for both men and women which meets on a Tuesday morning 10 am until 12.30 pm.
Like Sheds across the whole of the UK, the ability to drink tea and coffee and put the world to rights, is a key requirement to having a good time.
If this sounds like something that might appeal, do come down to Rickley Park and say “Hello”. You will see an example of the things that we make on the table outside of the Shed each session, but as ever, new ideas are always welcomed.

West Bletchley Shed Will bring taking its sales stand to the Newton Longville fair this Saturday 7th September. Open from 11 - 4. Come along and support us and get some ideas for presents.

It's the West Bletchley Carnival today (Saturday 12 July)... held at Rickley Park, MK3 6HF, from 12pm to 5pm.

Want to see the parade? It starts at Melrose Avenue at 12pm, travelling up Whaddon Way before turning left onto Shenley Road and into Rickley Park.

The carnival is free and for West Bletchley residents. Don’t forget your hat, sun cream and water… it's forecast to be warm!
