A powerful rescue operation continues at the Upper Trishuli hydropower tunnels, where Nepali Army teams are working alongside international rescue teams to reach those still trapped.

❤️ Latest update: 13,104 people have been rescued across the flood-affected areas. In the past three days, 4 people have been rescued alive, including 2 Nepali workers from the Upper Trishuli 3A tunnel.

Salute to the brave Nepali Army and all rescue teams working day and night. 🇳🇵🙏

Miracle Rescues Amid Mud: International and local rescue teams are racing against time. On Friday, two Nepali workers were successfully pulled alive from a flooded hydropower tunnel in the Trishuli valley after being trapped for nine days. On Saturday, a 64-year-old woman was discovered alive after being submerged in thick mud inside her damaged home in Nuwakot.

From the funds raised through our community appeal, Blackpool Nepali Samaj has donated £150 to Bishwash Bhatta.

After living in Blackpool for the past 5 years, Bishwash is now returning permanently to Nepal(27th September), but sadly, he has lost his home and everything he had in the recent disaster.

We urge everyone who can to please come forward and support him during this incredibly difficult time. Every contribution, no matter how small, can make a difference. 🙏🇳🇵
