Magic Club The Magic Club is a charity in Claremont, Blackpool. Registered charity number 1178232

Working with young people aged 7-18, inspiring them to dream big, helping them to develop strong foundations and supporting them to reach their fullest potential. The Magic Club was formed to create a dedicated space with and for young people in Claremont, Blackpool. We are committed to supporting our members to reach their fullest potential through an exiting programme of Club sessions, detached

youth work, trips, residentials, Duke of Edinburgh and Arts Award programmes, social action and entrepreneurial projects, 1-2-1 support and volunteer pathways. Our members can access safe spaces, with trusted adults, to make new friends, learn new skills and have loads of fun.

Week Four of summer saw a brilliant trip to the Tee Time Golf Centre to play Footgolf! this, if you don't know, is a cross between football and...golf! Our young members putt on a great display.

We also played lots of minute to win it games in club, and designed and painted our own tote bags!

We’re opening our membership to young people starting Year 3 this September.

We also have a limited number of places available for young people in Years 4–11.

(Young people living in Claremont or the immediate area will be given priority)

Membership and all our activities, including weekly sessions, trips and projects, are completely free 😊

Good luck to all of our Senior members collecting their GCSE results today!

We know how hard you worked and the challenges you overcame to get into those exam halls.

But today is just the beginning; whether you have smashed it, or wish you did a little better. Today is just the start of the rest of your life, and you get to choose which direction you travel.

We are incredibly proud of all of you ❤️

(Don't forget we've got a Drop in 1-2pm for Year 11s and Senior 3s today who are collecting their results! 🍕)

Thank you to everyone who has donated items from our Summer Wish List so far, we really appreciate your support!

There are still a few things left on our list if you'd like to make a donation. Everything we receive will be put to good use, not only during the rest of our summer activities, trips and residentials, but as we head back into our regular term-time youth club sessions too.

We've had a *brilliant* week three of HAF! The seniors went on their residential, you can see them in action - zip lining, kayaking, and making some great memories at The Kepplewray Trust.

In club, juniors had a super arty week (check out our the super cool art skills of our members in the pictures...especially if you're a Rick and Morty fan!), and they also made their own jam tarts!

Week two of HAF and it was every bit as fun as the first!

We've been making clay creatures, holding penalty shootouts, making our own quesadillas, making fruit kebabs, and going on a great trip out to Air Hop! We also had a visit from Karl at Graffitipro.co.uk to teach us about tagging and all things graffiti.

What a fantastic first week of HAF we have had at Magic Club!

Our Juniors have enjoyed creating Greek Gods to decorate club, making vegetable kebabs and enjoying our local park and sunshine!

Our seniors have created some paintings, playing games and an awesome trip to explore where we bowled and played some very intense games of laser tag!
