🎉 A huge thank you to Dave 🎉

We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to Dave, who chose to celebrate his incredible 90th birthday in a truly generous way - by raising vital funds for Carers in Bedfordshire. 💚

Thanks to the kindness of Dave and everyone who attended his celebration, an amazing £855 was raised to support unpaid Carers in our community. These funds will make a real difference, helping us continue to provide support, connection and vital services to those who need it most.

Dave, your generosity and thoughtfulness are inspiring, and we are so grateful for your support.

Happy 90th birthday and thank you again from all of us at Carers in Bedfordshire! 🎂👏

As part of Carers Week 2026, we're inviting unpaid Carers to drop in and meet the friendly team behind the new Carers in Luton service at Luton Central Library.

Whether you're looking for information, support, or simply want to find out what's available to you as a Carer, we'd love to meet you.

Pop in for a chat and:

As part of Carers Week 2026, the Carers in Luton team will be out and about at The Mall, and we'd love to meet you.

If you're an unpaid Carer, or think you might be caring for a family member, friend or neighbour, pop by for a friendly chat and find out about the support available through the new Carers in Luton service.

There's no need to book and no pressure to sign up to anything. Just come and say hello while you're out shopping.

Pop in for a chat over a cuppa. No appointment, no booking, no pressure — just come along when it suits you.

We need your support 💚

Brewpoint are currently looking for local charities to support, and we’d love it if you could nominate Carers in Bedfordshire as one of their charity partners.

As many of you know, we’re continuing to support unpaid Carers and Young Carers across Bedfordshire despite recently losing government funding. Your nomination could help raise awareness and bring vital support to local carers and families.

We’re looking for support to help translate some of our resources so we can reach even more Carers in our community.

In particular, we would love help with Urdu - but if you speak any other language, we would really like to hear from you too.

Does someone depend on you to stay well, or do you know someone who supports a family member or friend? Sharing information in different languages can make a real difference.
